DAY 2: CAI BE FLOATING MARKET OF MEKONG DELTA FULL DAY TOUR
- Cai Be floating market is one of the 6 largest floating markets in the southwest. Cai Be floating market is located in Cai Be town of Tien Giang province and 110km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City, takes 2 hours and 30 minutes by car. Cai Be floating market is in a tributary of Tien river. This is one of the oldest floating markets in the southwest of Vietnam. In the past, people in the southwestern region in particular and Vietnam in general. Road transport is not yet developed, there is no means of transportation. The western people used water transport to trade fruits, vegetables and many commodities on floating markets.
- Cai Rang floating market today attracts a lot of tourists to visit, watch fruit and vegetable exchanges on the floating market. Especially understanding the floating market culture of the people here and also pictures of beautiful scenes, peaceful atmosphere with many boats carrying fruits such as watermelon, rambutan, cucurbit, sweet potato, carrots, pineapple and banana ....

- Cross to the other side of the Mekong River to a famous island named Tan Phong. Here we visit a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and slowly enjoy getting in touch with local life by taking a hand-row-ing boat or sampan.
- Then visit the ancient house, this is one of the traditional Vietnamese ancient houses. The anciet house is made of fine wood with intricate carvings. In here, you also have your Vietnamese Traditional lunch and relax until you get back to the car. It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Cai Be floating market back to downtown Saigon.
